This last Sat. Tony (W2HWW) Art (WA2LLN) and I started the 375 transmitter building cleanup.
We removed 4 broken cells, leaving 8 remaining to be removed, and applied 8 pounds of soda in water to the floor in 4 "lather, rinse, repeat" sessions.  Yet to be done is the safe removal and disposition of the remaining 8 cells, removal and disposal of the steel battery stands and the complete flooding and flushing of the floor.

I will schedule and announce the next work session at least 2 weeks in advance.

When that is done we can begin the retrofit of the transmitter building including:
 - temporarily moving the 375 and 444.85 equioment,
 - removing all legacy wiring and jumper clips,
 - completely clear, repair and repaint the room,
 - thoroughly clean and paint the floor and lower 6" of the walls with epoxy floor paont,
 - install new battery backup system,
 - reinstall racks, reinstall power distribution, reinstall 375, 375 backup, 444.85
