Ladies and Gentlemen

Hamfest time is upon us!

So far, this is our list of volunteers:

Table Sales (this is our initial contact people) they will take reservations
and forward then to the appropriate people.
Tony W2HWW and Roberto K2PA
They should be enough?

Advertising: Contacts vendors, makes flyer, contacts QST, ARRL, Hudson
Division Beacon, CD and forwards fliers to local clubs.
Walter WO2U and Nick N2NV
They may need more help?

Door Sales: collects admission money and hands out admission tickets.
Mary KC2ISR and Tom AB2FGF
They need one to two more people.

Vendor Admission: Collects vendor admission door sales and assigns tables
the day of the Hamfest
Michael N1MNV and Tony W2HWW
Probably enough people but, there's never too many???

Kitchen: Creates a menu, purchases food, schedules help and kitchen clean-up
(This Is a Big Job)
Joe KM2Y
He'll need a minimum of five more people or we'll be limited to coffee and
doughnuts!

Security: controls vendor passage in and out of the building and makes sure
only vendors are in the building during set-up.
NO Volunteers
This position requires a minimum of two people (This Is a Very Important
Position)

Parking: Ensures vendors are directed to vendor parking and shoppers are
directed to shoppers parking.
NO Volunteers
This position requires three people and it's a Very Important Job!

Club Table: Collects ticket stubs, distributes door prizes, makes
announcements, coordinates communications and sells club members items that
arrive with proper documentation.
Walter WO2U, Bob KA2OEE and Taino N2DQL
This should be enough people to fill this position but, we would like some
people to be alternates to fill in, last minute, if necessary.
(Alternates should be prepared to fill in anywhere necessary)

Set-up and Tear Down, will and does include ALL CLUB MEMBERS, regardless of
any limitations, you can and should help!

Talk-in, provides directions to the buyers through-out the Hamfest and
should have a good knowledge of all approaches to the Hamfest.
No Volunteers
One person with a mobile rig, power supply and antenna should be able to do
this job.

VE Testing, Administers the Amateur License Tests
Roberto K2PA
An absolute minimum of three people are necessary to administer the tests
(provided they are VEs with the appropriate license)
More then three people should be there, though!

Skywarn, Calls Mt. Holly NASA and schedules a speaker for the Hamfest and
anything related to holding the class.
No Volunteers
One to two people should do this job.

As you may have noticed by now, many people are doing two or more jobs and
are spread too thin.
If you planning to help, and all of you should, let us know NOW.
Even if you're not available on Hamfest Day there's still a lot of things
you can do.

Respectfully
