Subject: [W2CRA] CRA - Trailer Team

I must say that I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of response to my invitation.
So, to move thing along a bit . . . Your thoughts on:
 - The trailer should be able to be safely towed by smaller vehicles: no SUV or
Pickup required.
 - The trailer should accommodate 2 or 3 active OPERATORS, no more. It is NOT a

"mobile clubhouse" but an implement that permits us to quickly and efficiently
fulfill our mission.
 - The trailer is NOT a place to store stuff. Only that which is of immediate
need in a real deployment is to be stored: 1 complete tent, 2 tables, 8 folding
chairs, 1 generator, quickly deployed antennas.
 - The trailer will accompany us to ALL of our events - even the picnic - and
will be placed so as to prominently advertise / announce our presence and
participation. No longer will we be "invisible".
 - The trailer will be clearly marked to immediately identify us:
          "Hunterdon County's Amateur Radio Club
             The Cherryville Repeater Association
                               W2CRA
PO Box 308 Quakertown, NJ 088whatever
                     http://www.qsl.net/w2cra"
 - We "can" make logo / decal space available to those who would like to support

our mission - either by helping fund the trailer and it's outfitting or by
helping to defray out annual operating and maintenance costs.
 - The trailer will also haul stuff we need for other events like field day and
the hamfest. Less waiting for the availability of someone with a truck.
 - The trailer will NOT be available for personal use no matter who requests
or for loan no matter what the reason. If it doesn't involve a club event or
activation, it doesn't move from it's parking spot.

So . . . Got anyone's attention?
