[W2CRA] FIELD DAY

Now that the March-of-Dimes walkathon is over - it's time to organize our next club event: FIELD DAY.
 
It will be the last weekend of June (6/26&27) and we will be operating for 24 hours - from about noon on Saturday 'til about noon on Sunday (the running down to the bicycle race in Flemington Boro but more about that at the next general meeting).
 
Her's the (draft) plan:
We'll be using wire antennas - easier for 50 and 60 year-old backs than the steel towers.
We'd like three stations - one for CW, one for digital media, and one for sideband.
If possible - we'd like one of our new licensees to run a GOTA station.
 
Anyone wo'd like to try satellite communication, EME or "something different" we'd like you to volunteer too.
 
We also could use someone to cook (we have a NEW grill - courtesy of the Hamfest).
 
What would you like to do? All ideas considered. If we missed something - tell us and head up the committee.
