To W2CRA Members:

The NJ Department of Health & Senior Services has opened and
staffed a 24/7 call center to get information on the H1N1 flu
to the public and answer their questions.

The center needs volunteers to staff the phone banks next week (Monday, May 4, thru Sunday, May 10).

In my position as a DHSS planner I'd like to ask you to
volunteer. If you 'd like to participate, be prepared to come to
the call-in center for 4-hour shifts.

Training and scripts are provided before you take your place at the phone banks.

The 4-hour shifts begin at 0000, 0400, 0800, 1200, 1600, and
2000 hours.

We are, especially, asking for people for the 1600 and 2000h shifts.

If any of you are willing to volunteer to serve the larger community, you can contact me with your names and the time you can give at:

OVER THE WEEKEND, E-MAIL IS BEST...

The Call Center is at the hospital and I will send directions
to anyone who volunteers.

NOTE:
THIS IS NOT A CLUB FUNCTION. I AM SEEKING VOLUNTEERS WHEREVER I CAN.

All volunteers WILL receive a letter of thanks, though, that you can show to your club secretary to be credited with service by your club...

Glenn
