All
I will be available for Field Day weekend, and will bring my Kenwood TS-50 rig for SSB/CW and a power supply. I will have to leave for a few hours late Saturday afternoon for my nephew's graduation party, however, I plan to return afterward. Please let me know if there is anything else I can bring with me to support the effort.
Also plan to be available for the July 4th parade in Lebanon.
Regards,
Bob

Hello all,
I'm new to the club and the reflector ... thought I'd take this
opportunity to say hello, and to say, as I did at the meeting on Friday,
that I'm looking forward to contributing to the Field Day effort this
year. I'm available to help with set-up and break-down, and I might be
available to operate some of the time as well. I am an Extra Class
license holder.
I have a few antennas that I'm willing to bring along. A pretty old
Butternut vertical (I think its an HF5V), but I don't know if all of the
parts are there. I also have a pair of 4 element 6 meter yagis with
matching sections that makes a great, light weight 2-yagi array. I think I
also have a light duty rotor that will handle them.
If I can find them, I'm pretty sure I have one or two baluns for
center-fed dipoles, a bunch of strain and egg type insulators and
miscellaneous hardware such as thimbles and guy wire clamps. And I have
quite a bit of #12 and #10 THHN that would be fine for use in temporary
wire antennas. All we'd need is supports and feed line ...
I have a 40-foot fiberglass extension ladder that would make a fine
temporary tower or center support for inverted-V antennas ... at least
two, unless we guy the ladder with some rope ... but I do not have a means
to transport it.
