I have a (/\/\) MSF5k UHF and a UHF 21ft Stationmaster coming.
i want to stick it on a pair in the part 95a radio service. unlike the
hamtronics i had the MSF is certified for parts 90, 95a, and part 97. plus
this thing is 110 watts so when turned down to 50 watts the pa deck will run
all day long w/o breaking a sweat.
i'd like a site that has good LOS to glen gardner flemington and kingwood.
what kind of cost would i be looking at for site rental? or does the club
have access to a site where i could sit my repeater for the cost of
electricity?
it would be open to licensed GMRS users free of charge if i get a free site
or for a fee if i have to pay a site rental.
i got a mind blower of a deal on the repeater. $300.00 shipped for the
machine $20.00 for the station master, and a free 150ft roll of LDF-50a
(Well Few hrs of digging and running of new RG11) with "N" connectors.
i could put it up at my xyl's family farm in locktown, but the antenna would
be shadowed from most of the coverage area needed and only be 30ft off
ground max.
any suggestions?
btw: part 95a repeaters need not be coordinated. there is kind of a
gentalmens agreemant as far as coordination on GMRS.
Thanks,
