[W2CRA] Turkey Trot Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers for Thanksgiving morning to provide safety communications for the annual Flemington Turkey Trot.

The Turkey Trot is a sanctioned 5K footrace that involves more than 2,500 runners.  In addition there are usually 650 (or more, weather depending) folks who take the "walker" course.  The race is run through downtown Flemington and ONLY a portion of Main St. is closed!  

Volunteers will be placed at strategic points on the course, in their vehicles to observe and report safety-related issues.

We will gather at the WaWa at 31 and Church St at 8:30 am to organize and assign posts and then deploy at about 9:00 am for the start of the race at 9:30.  

You can expect to be released by 11:30.
