[W2CRA] Kids Day

   I was asked by my friend Barry Cohen, K2JV (He
spoke to the club about the EZNEC software) if I
would post a notice about the upcoming "Kids Day"
on January 6--Sunday.

   Barry says the New Providence club will be
operating from the Berkeley Heights Recreation
center and will be on both HF and two meters. On
two meters they will be checking into the
Cherryville Repeater on .375, and would enjoy
having our club members--especially
YL's--available to talk with youngsters visiting
the radio operation. 

   The exchange is simple, First name, age,
location/state and favorite color. He says also
that "for age, Yls can use 21 plus."

   If any members can be available beginning at
2:00 pm local time Sunday, January 6, jump in and
have some fun on the air with youngsters who could
someday become hams!
