[W2CRA] 4H Fair and W4H - Call for Volunteers

Hard to believe the Fair is already half over!

We still need volunteers, though.

Saturday is the Fairs' BIG day and we don't have enough people on staff for it OR Sunday.

We still need:
people for the 10-2 shift Saturday AND Sunday
people for the 2-6 shift n Saturday
people for the end of the day on Sunday and to help us tear down the tent and stash it back in the trailer...

So far, we've been able to make a few contacts as W4H. We've had daytime contacts in Indiana (thanks to Roberto) and some local ones (Bill P and Mike M) AND we've had the Fair's circuits blown too! Excitment!

People have come by the tent to talk and shared stories os how ham radio has affected their lives (and a 'thank you' to MARS operators - I'll tell you more about that in the next newsletter)

We've had folks stop by to ask about getting their license and scout troops ask about merit badge requirements - we HAVE to set up a class soon - Roberto is already doing some of the legwork on that.

AND MORE - VOlunteer to staff the tent this weekend and be a part of it!
