[W2CRA] Turkey Trot Event

Team,

To provide complete support for the Turkey Trot Event
 ( http://www.ceaemployment.com/turkeytrot.html ) 
we'll need between 6 and 8 mobile stations positioned throughout Flemington.

On Thanksgiving morning, we'll meet at the Rt 31 WaWa parking lot at 8:45 am where I'll provide maps and race support vehicle ID and assign posts.  Talk-in as well as race operations will be on 375.

Remember: Our job is to OBSERVE!  We aren't the police, crossing guards or race support. We are to watch for runners down and dangerous conditions and report them.  I'll have police band communications in my vehicle and hope to have direct comms with the Flemington PD.
Should you observe dangerous driving in the presence of runners or walkers, you should write down the vehicle info (State, Plate, Make, Model, Color, Time and direction of travel - bring something to write on and with) and relay the info.  I'll pass the information on to either the county 911 center or to the Sgt. in charge of event security.

We'll be done by 11:00 am at the latest unless you care to attend the post-race gala or dive into bagels and whatever else they're serving up at the park.

I'd appreciate E-Mail RSVPs where possible and, if not, a call on 375 the morning of the race.
