It is with great sadness that I forward this message. Bill was a former 
member of the CRA and served at one time as its President.  Bill was a 
premier DXer and contester as well as a mentor to many getting started 
in amateur radio.  He will be missed.

Good Morning Everyone,
 
   It is my very sad duty, this morning, to announce the passing
of Bill Inkrote, K2NJ / VE9NJ. Bill was licensed for over 40 years
and lived amateur radio to its fullest, especially in the dx and
contesting areas.  He had struggled continuously for the last
year or two with respiratory and cardiac issues, and had spent
most of the last two months in the hospital. Final arrangements
are pending, but will be provided to everyone when they are
completed and announced by the family.
