[W2CRA] Call for Hunterdon 4H Fair Volunteers

  WANTED:
  Club members to staff the W2CRA booth at the Hunterdon 4H Fair;
 August 22-26 in Ringoes.
   
  We will set up our tent next to the "Community Service Organizations"
 tent and will have several antennas rigged to operate during the fair.
 We have obtained the special event call: "W4H" this year, and hope to
 log QSOs during the fair. 
   
  We need volunteers to staff the booth from 10 AM to 10 PM; Wednesday
 thru Saturday and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. If you have posters or
 ideas for display - let us know.
   
  We also need volunteers to help with setup: Tuesday night (8/21)
 after 5pm.
   
  Volunteer by sending an email to Glenn Bukowski: kc2nxz at yahoo.com 
 with the Subject Line, "W4H Volunteer" and include the times you'd
 like to  staff the booth. A license isn't necessary to be on staff (get
your
 family involved) but we'd like people to bring portable rigs (HF,
 VHF,UHF) to demonstrate them to the public.
   
  Volunteers will be allowed to park in the vendor area (second
 entrance to the site). We will send out a dashboard ID for you vehicle
 closer to the time of the event.
   
  For those of you not familiar with the site: the Fair is held at the
 4H site on rt 179S right next to rt 202E. In the next few days, you
 will see the ferris wheel and other rides being erected at the site.
 And, don't forget about the "fair food" and entertainment.
