[W2CRA] On the mend

Hi to all,
   Just a note to let you know that I'm doing
reasonably well, considering I can't drive, can't
climb my tower, can't finish the ditch with the
coaxes and control cables, can't finish the house
projects, can't.... Well you get the idea. 
   Thanks to you all for your wishes and the card
from the FD gang. I sure appreciated getting it
and especially the taco salad I know Ed made so
well. It was delicious. 
   After my visit to the orthopedic doc on Monday
I was relieved that he opted not to put a screw in
my ankle yet, I go back in another week to see how
it's doing, and he'll decide then. Meantime I'm
pretty much homebound, but I do have email, and
occasionally two meter contact. I can't get out
with an HT in this house, never could. I want
desperately to get myself downstairs to do some
hamming on HF, but don't know when I'll be able to
do that. 
   I just realized that some may not have heard
what happened! I wound up with an ankle broken in
two places when I tried to jump that stupid ditch
at FD setup! Actually "stupid" applies more to me
than to the ditch! 
   Anyway, thanks for all your good wishes, and
please stay in touch!
