Friends, Countrymen and Fellow Hams, lend me your ear

Roberto Matos, K2PA went into the hospital yesterday to have both of his 
knees replaced, he was admitted around 10:00 am, his surgery lasted 
almost four hours and he was released from recovery and sent to his room 
at 9:00 pm.  The operation was successful and Roberto was in good 
spirits, under the circumstances.  Roberto is expected to stay at the 
hospital until Wednesday or as late as Friday when he'll be transferred 
to a rehab facility where he is expected to stay for five to six weeks.

When I saw him last night with all those wires and hoses attached, I ask 
him if he could tune in any countries, he responded by saying "He 
thought he heard Shi Lanka" a country he's only heard once or twice before.

Roberto is at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, 
we should probably hold off visiting until he's transferred, I will keep 
you all apprised on his progress.
