As Barry Campbell requested last week, 5-6 volunteers are STILL needed for
the March Of Dime Walk in Spruce Run Park next Sunday morning, April 25th.
I am now handling net control, so we need operators only at this point! The
event starts at approximately 8 AM Sunday morning and runs until about 11
AM, with lunch to follow. And yes, you can eat if you wish. We will set up
in the parking lot, HT's will hit the repeater fine from Spruce Run, we wil=
l
spread out along the route and have something "bring up the rear" so we kno=
w
when the last walker comes through.
Please let me know if you can come out for this worthy cause: we're just
looking a few good hams, 5 or 6 to be exact! Spruce Run is a beautiful
place, and so far, the weather report is: Partly Cloudy and 61=B0!
Send me email to "[email protected]" or call my home at (908) 638-3401 if
you can help.
Thanks, 73! Walter W2WJO
PS: Sorry if you get this notice more than once - it is being sent to the
CRA reflector AND the membership roster!
