Well Don is home now. They finally let him out about 7:30 last night, and
man is he happy to be home! He made a bee line directly to his lounge chair,
and I'll bet he's still there now!
Anyway, he is looking much better, says he feels a little better each
day, so I think he's on the mend.
On the way home as we got to the top of the hill from the hospital, he
was looking to the north and discovered a fantastic display of Aurora
Borialis (forgive the spelling--never was my forte). I also got the
opportunity to look, and it's the first time I've see Northern Lights in
these parts. It was quite a display and Don said it was a fitting coming
home gift for him. I was happy to see him in such good spirits, and tried to
encourage him to get his HT available, but he said it was a little too soon
right now. Hopefully we'll hear his melodious tones on the repeater sometime
soon. I have passed along all your greetings that I've picked up off the
air, and I know we all collectively wish him a very speedy recovery.
