As some of you know, I do part time work for Datamatrix, the author and
distributor of the ham radio logging program known as Prolog2k.  Datamatrix
has also been a distributor of the Flying Horse Callbook on CD ROM since it
was first put in CD format.  Unfortunately, they are going out of business
and the next CD release will be their final issue.  Datamatrix is taking
advance orders for this final issue at an unbelievably reduced price and I
thought
I would pass this information on to you.  Anyone interested can contact

Winter 2003 Flying Horse CDROM

The Radio Amateur Callbook will be ceasing publication of the Flying
Horse CDROM with the Winter 2003 Edition. The final pressing will be
delivered in mid-November.

Heretofore, we have felt confident in ordering substantial quantities
beyond actual commitment because, as a dealer, we have been able to exchange
unsold old product for new product when it is released. This year however,
after the Winter 2003 release, there will be no new product. So, needless
to say, this year we will be somewhat more cautious in how much additional
product we will request beyond the number of orders we have in hand. Unlike
previous years, once the supplies of our initial order are exhausted, we
will not re-order. So, those customers that order early will be guaranteed
delivery at a very special price.

Datamatrix pricing on the Flying Horse CDROM has always been the lowest
around at $37.50 and even lower at $35.50 when coupled with any ProLog2K
product order. This year, as an incentive to register early, I will
reduce the price of the Winter 2003 CDROM to $33.50 for anyone requesting
a copy before November 1, 2002 with or without a ProLog2K order. This
should be the lowest price around, so take advantage of this limited time
offer; even domestic shipping is included! After November 1, the pricing
will revert back to our original $35.50/$37.50 pricing. Canadian customers
please add $2.00 shipping, other International customers please add $5.
