[W2CRA] Couple of items

Greetings,
   Some of you have been asking about this Sunday's Walkathon event, and I
met with Marty last night and have the following information: Meet at the
main parking lot of Spruce Run--that's also where the Triathalon is held--
at about 7:30 a.m. We help with parking then will be dispatched to the five
or so posts. All of the event is on the Spruce Run grounds, none of it goes
onto the public roads. 
   The following are listed as having volunteered to participate: KC2CMC,
WA2TOV, KA2YYB, N2NV, W2RIJ, W2MIF, N2ZVY, KC2EBL, N2VWL, KB2YXY, N2AUO and
W2CGX. We will be using the .015 machine, and I'll get with Ed to disable
the PL for the event.
   Second item: Next week, specifically on Thursday, May 2, we'll hold a VE
session for those who have been attending the upgrade class for the past few
weeks. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you are not part of the upgrade class
and plan to take an exam, please let me know you will be coming, and what
exam you want to take. Marty will not be there that evening, so please let
ME know.
   Finally, thought you might like to know we now have 35 members on the
mail list. Six receive the digest, and the rest get messages as they are
sent. That's great!
