[W1SMH] Possible Storm Assistance

The upcoming storm may cause widespread power and therefore heating issues in the area.  The area towns will then open warming centers.  These storm outages will most likely also affect communications between the warming centers and Emergency Management Agencies.

This is what ham radio can provide assistance with.  The concept is to provide a ham with a radio and using the Sturdy repeater initially with its back up power to links us.

The Emergency Management Agencies are looking to the greatest need to be Monday mid morning  through Tuesday.  

We have no actual need yet so we're  just getting ready.  

Please let me know of your availability to help and potentially take a 2-4 hour shift at a warming center.  EMA will provide additional personnel and equipment.  So this is not a solo gig.   We can coordinate vehicle transportation to and from.
