Rather than have the parade march through town to welcome Santa, we will be conducting a drive-by parade where Santa will be in one location and people are encouraged to drive past.  Due to the change, communication requirements are also different as there will be no staging of the parade participants.  Immediately after the drive-by parade, we will be holding the annual traditional tree lighting ceremony in Veteran’s Memorial Park in the gazebo.  Due to social distancing and gathering guidelines, we are limited to 100 people in the park for the tree lighting.  Where I could use some assistance is in crowd monitoring and control.  If people are willing to give their time, I could utilize members to stand at the various park entrances and communicate the crowd count in order to keep incompliance.
