[W1SMH] Field day log submission guide for 2020

The server will probably mess up the formatting of this note. (sorry about
that)

Some members had some questions about Field Day submissions since this was
their first time
participating in field day.

The following is a step by step process for submitting your log for field
day.


1. Use any field day logging software to log all your entries
If you want to manually log your entries and send to the ARRL  see
instructions
in the Rules for Field Day at the ARRL website.

2. Generate a file of your log in Cabrillo Format.
Your software needs to have this option.
Most of them do. Name your log YOURCALL.log (eg. W1AAA.log)

3. Go to the entry form web site
https://field-day(dot)arrl(dot)org/fdentry(dot)php
or use the link on the ARRL website

**replace the (dot) above with a period character "."  -- no quotes

3a. Enter YOUR own call in call used

4. Fill in the appropriate info
The "club or Group name" blank has a working drop down of all clubs in ARRL,
Pick "STURDY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ARC"

---Skip the GOTA referenced sections
---You probably can also skip the BONUS points sections unless you
participated
    in some way on your own, such as having your youngster operate,
    or advertised your station on social media, or had an official visit
your station, etc.

4a.  If you have Bonus entries,
      Attach documentation in some kind of file format (jpg, txt, etc)
using the "choose file"
      button in the appropriate category

5. Fill in the "Band/Mode QSO Breakdown section with your type of contacts.

6. Attach your Cabrillo file in the "Band/Mode QSO Breakdown section.
(click the "choose file" button)

7. Skip the GOTA Bonus section

8. sign and submit
