[W1SMH] Question about a Uniden scanner

Good morning to everyone.  I hope the "calm before the storm" is treating
you well.

I am trying to track down a very specific cord for a Uniden police
scanner.  The cord is called the Uniden USB-1.  It converts a usb to serial
port for a couple of different scanners. The scanner that I have is the
BC346XT. I'm trying to determine if my cable is has gone bad or if the
inputs on the scanner are shot.  And I don't know how to test them.  I
figure the fastest way to test is to find a different cable.
