[W1SMH] Help needed with radio

Good afternoon.  I need help with a radio that Gil graciously gave me just
before I got sick in the fall.  Now that I'm past all of my surgeries, etc,
I just now starting to play with it.

The radio is an ADI AR-147.  I have power going into the unit but no volume
or squelch.   I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Any help will be appreciated.
