After reviewing with the different regions who expressed that its either a "don't care" or actually better to do the net on Monday 7/2 and confirming we can have Jim-KB1KQW cover the State EOC HQ if we do the net on Monday 7/2, we will proceed with the nets on 7/2. Thanks to all for their patience while I checked with our agency officials on what worked best for them for the nets this month.

Hi Don,
We have had a request from the state to look at moving the nets to the second Monday of the month from the first Monday of the
  month for July because of state preparations for events such as the fireworks at the esplanade (rehearsal Tuesday Evening, actual fireworks Wednesday Evening). I've sent them a note now to confirm and once confirmed, we'll let folks know if the nets will move.

The first Monday of every month, unless the first Monday is a holiday, is a test of the Massachusetts RACES and ARES communication capabilities.  If the first Monday of the month is a holiday, then the test is delayed one week and will be held the following Monday.This month the first Monday is July 2 and the nets will be held on Monday July 2********************************************************************************6:45 PM EDT HF net:  using the following frequency plan:We will start at 3930 KHz moving up to 3955 KHz until there is a clear frequency,Marc Stern WA1R will be net control.********************************************************************************* Region 2D VHF net7:30 PM EDT VHF net on 146.865 MHz PL 103.5 (Sharon Repeater)We will have  a general call up of any RACES, ARES, or other interested stations.  .Jeff Marden N1JCM will be net control.***********************************************************************************Region 2 Sector 2A VHF net7:30 PM EDT VHF net On the Dartmouth 147:00 + 67.0 PL repeater.
