 Just to recap
Based on the latest NWS briefing and MEMA SitRep it appears that the Rain storm will pass north and west of us later in the day
into the early evening on Sunday.
That being said the Norton Halloween Parade will start staging at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning. Hams, EMA Volunteers and Parks and Rec Volunteers will meet in the parking lot behind the Oasis Night Club on Pleasant St at the Norton/Attleboro line.
Hams will use 147.42 simplex no tone , non hams will use FRS CH 4 no tone. Parade will step off at noon we should be done by1:00PM.

Now the tricky part we have been asked by Norton PD and Norton Fire to provide Parking lot Management and nighttime lighting
of the Parking lots for the Wake of Past Selectmen, Firefighter and all around Town Dignitary Clarence "Butch" Rich.
The Wake starts at 2:00.PM The funeral Home is the Norton Memorial Funeral Home on Clapp St. which is the 2nd left off route 140 south of the Town Common and Route 123. The Wake runs until 8:00PM but With the possibility of rains later in the evening it is anticipated that crowds will come earlier.

For those of you who are working the parade and would also like to help out with the Wake. I would ask that as soon as you are
released from the parade, grab some lunch and head over to the funeral home.
For those who are not doing the parade but want to help out with the parade We would ask that you report to the Funeral home
at 2:00PM or anytime after that you can get there. Obviously parking will be an issue. Clapp St is actually a loop that has two
entrances on route 140. There are grassy areas at both entrances.I would recommend parking there and walking in it is only 1 block
from either end to the Funeral home

If you have any questions you can email me or call me
Thank you
