This is New England so if you don't like the way things are going, just wait a minute.

It seems that some of the original members of the Norton 300th Anniversary Committee couldn't bear to see Founders Day  cancelled so they stepped up and took over the reigns of the Founders Day Committee. 
So we are good to go with Founders Day.    BUT I need to go back to square one.

Founders Day will be Saturday June 17th It will be a evening of fun for the entire family. Games, Rides, Food,
Bands, dancing and FIREWORKS. Gates open at 5PM Fireworks at 9PM we should be done about 10PM

Our Mission will be Parking Lot Management, Crowd Safety, Power Generation and Lighting
We need Volunteers to show up at 4:00PM. Parking will be behind the Yelle School 64 West Main St. report to the Norton EMA Command Post for your. Assignment.  We will make arrangements to have supper served about 7:30PM
Uniform of the day will be comfortable Shoes, HiViz Vests or Jackets, baseball cap Flashlights with Traffic Wands and a Radio. Hams will use 147.42 Simplex (direct) No Tone. Non Hams will use FRS Ch #4. Fire/EMS will be on 
FD #1 and Police will be on PD #1. EMA will be on Mansfield EMA channel direct.

We need to know your availability ASAP so we can start working on Operational Assignments.
