 Hello All
This is just a reminder that MEMA is expending a lot of time and energy to revitalize the Ham Radio RACES Program.
There are several parts of the program that are required

1- Every Community must have an appointed Ham Radio Operator as their RACES Operator
2- MEMA Region 2 must have the contact info for this person
3- The RACES Operators from each Community should try to participate in the monthly RACES Training Net on the first Monday of each
    Month.

Having said that, This coming Monday Night March 6th is the first Monday of the month and RACES Net night.
MEMA Sector 2A Bristol County Net will be at 7:30PM on the Dartmouth Repeater 147.00+ PL 67.0hz.
If there are stations in the Northern part of Bristol County that can't reach the Dartmouth Repeater, they may check into the
Sector 2D net on the Sharon Repeater 146.865- PL103.5hz

All Ham Radio Operators are welcome to check into the net. Net Control will do a Roll Call first of Community RACES Operators.
Then will call for Hospital EOCs and lastly any other stations that want to check in.

There is also a need for Stations to act as Net Control Stations as MEMA Region 2 runs 4 simultaneous Nets on RACES Net Night and activations. You can actually be a NCS from home if you wish. You don't have to go to Region 2.. Please contact Region 2 for more info.
.
Can we please try to support this worthwhile endeavor and promote the value of Ham Radio in MEMA. If we don't support the program,
then we cant complain when we are left out in Emergencies.

Thank you for your help
