PodRunner® Featured in CQ Magazine

Happy New Year!

We'd like to share with you an article that was written in the December issue of CQ Magazine about the PodRunner® Workstations being used to support the ARES/RACES teams in New Jersey for the Papal visit and public mass in Philadelphia. The article illustrates the important role that these teams play in supporting field communications and reviews the functionality of their new PodRunner® Workstations (Spoiler Alert - they REALLY liked them!).

We especially appreciate author Cory Sickles sharing his experience working with our sales and engineering staff. I guarantee we enjoyed working with this group as much as they did with us.

Give us a call at (888) 427-3728 and let us help you build a PodRunner® to fit your needs!

Recent Builds
St. Clair County: CENCOM 9-1-1

Styled after a 'MABAS' style Workstation, this unit contains all of the essential elements to run an incident independent of the delivery vehicle. The narrow design allows it to be set up and operated inside, outside or even from a rooftop!

Whiteford Township Hydrant-Pod™

Purchased to support the community of Ottawa Lake, MI, this Pod will be used to draft water for fire fighting. Many of the neighborhoods do not have pressurized fire hydrants, but the plentiful lakes, ponds and creeks in the area can be used by the fire department for structure protection.

Can also be used to de-water flooded homes and businesses during the spring.

Beaverton PD Range Box

This Cargo-Pod™ was purchased by the City of Beaverton Police Department for storage and transport of range supplies.

"We mainly use it to haul equipment from our conex box to the range. The PodRunner® kept our targets and tools dry and accessible even under some pretty extreme conditions. We are completely happy with the unit."

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center

As part of the hospital's emergency preparedness and environmental safety plan, they purchased a Hydrant-Pod™ with 300 GPM Honda trash pump and a PodRunner® with Universal Mounting Platform (UMP).

The pumping system is for emergency de-watering of flooded low lying areas and basements (keeping power equipment and supplies dry).

The UMP is for hauling emergency generators and large equipment around the hospital campus and to remote clinics.

About The PodRunner®
The PodRunner® from Rescue 42 is a new way to move gear and equipment quickly and easily. The industrial strength cart has a scissor lift built into the frame which enables one person to mount it on to a standard 2" trailer hitch - up to 600 lbs! Once mounted, the wheels pull up off the ground eliminating the speed, road and registration restrictions of a trailer.

Upon arrival at your destination, just pop the PodRunner® off your hitch and roll it wherever it is needed. Agile and narrow, the unit fits through standard sized doorways and into most elevators, making them versatile both indoors and out.
