[W1SMH] Operational Plan for Norton FGounders Day Saturday June 20th

 Hello All
If you have signed up for this event or if you have just decided that you want to participate (please let me know), here are the plans.

I- SCHEDULE

1- 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon - Initial setup by Kris Maciejko NEMA Staff Ops Officer
2- 2:00PM to 4:00PM      - Secondary setup and deployment of power and light towers
3- 4:00PM                      - All NEMA/CERT Volunteer staff to report to the Command post located at the rear of the Yelle School
                                      and receive their duty assignments and radios
5:00PM                          - Event Opens to the public
7:00PM- 8:30PM            - Staggered Supper breaks
8:30PM                         - Start packing up
9:10PM                         - Fireworks Show 
9:30PM                         - Mass Exodus

II- COMMUNICATIONS
Event Command and Control will utilize FRS Ch 4 No Tone and 147.42 VHF No Tone 
Command post will also monitor Norton Police Ch 1 and Norton Fire/EMS Ch1

III UNIFORM
Comfortable shoes or boots
HiViz EMA/CERT Vests
ID Badges (if you have them)
Baseball style cap (or whatever is appropriate)
Flashlight with extra batteries and traffic wand
Sunscreen

IV- ASSIGNMENTS
Duty assignments have been made based on experience and training
New members may be paired with a Team leader for training
Assignments may rotate through the evening to get cross training 
We will not provide Traffic Control on West Main St This is a Police Function
Public Safety is our primary mission. Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Command Post
Recruit for CERT and EMA while you are out there. We can always use more volunteers


V REHAB
Cold water will be provided throughout the event
Snacks will be available throughout the event
Breaks will be scheduled through rotation
Supper will be Choice of Pizza or Hot Dogs
Soda of varying flavors will be available
