    Hello All
I am forwarding this request for assistance from Wrentham EMA-CERT
WEMA has always been supportive of our events so it is time to repay.

This is a morning event and you will probably be done before noontime, but I will let Lee fill in the details
 when you sign up

If you are available to help please contact Lee w1idz at yahoo.com
or Donna donnatunno at yahoo.com, directly, if you want to put
me on cc that is fine.

I realize that this is short notice, but I didn't get much time to work on the preliminaries. So we can pretend this is a test of our readiness ;-)

On Aug 22, a week from this Saturday, we have been asked to provide safety support to a 5K race to be held through the streets of Wrentham. Our main function will be to look out for runners in need of help and/or first aid, and to be a visible presence in key intersections to entice drivers to proceed with caution.

Ideally, I'll need 13 CERTS including myself and Donna, who'll be running in the race.

Hi visibility vests - either the fluorescent yellow or the CERT green will be required of all volunteers. We hope to have T-shirts available in time for the event in a fluorescent color as well.

Since we cannot provide all 13 CERTs I'd like to solicit about three helpers each from Norton, Mansfield, and Plainville.

We'll be able to discuss the course and identify our posts and positions at this Monday's meeting in the conference room at the Wrentham Public Safety building at 7pm.

Please reply to Donna and me with your availability and desired T-shirt size.

        thanks,
