I plan to be there, the more the merrier, I understand there are actually 3 races here so I'm thinking his estimate for help needed may be a little on the lower side. The Freetown 50.  This is a 50 mile mountain bike race held at the Freetown State Forest.  This race is on Sunday, September 14th.  The race has been limited to 450 entrants and all entrants must finish the course in 7 hours so this is a long one.  I'm looking at about 20 hams to help out with this one. Several years ago they had a rider down that needed to be air lifted out.  With our comms we hope to be able to get help to people who need it quickly and effectively and to keep all riders safe.  We'll get back to you on times and communications locations around the course as soon as we get the info.
