Scott,

The Run of the Charles canoe and kayak race is only a couple of weeks away now, and I’m looking for a few good hams to help round out our communications team. Many of the same volunteers come back for this event year after year, just because it’s so much fun. It’s all about enjoying a nice day on the river, and the participants’ enthusiasm rubs off on us.

Can you please help us out? The event is on Sunday, April 27, running from Riverdale Park in Dedham down to Artesani Park in Brighton. Check-in and         end times vary by assignment, so we have some flexibility to accommodate different schedules and experience levels. All you need is handheld with a good antenna—and maybe a lawn chair!
