The BAA is now looking for their volunteers for the 2012 Half Marathon on Sunday, 7 October.? However, because of our critical qualifications and organization, the ham radio support is handled separately.? Of course, the date is the same.?

Mark your calendar and save the date.? I will send out a notice in the next several weeks specifically asking for your help for this public service event.? You may ignore any volunteer messages directly from the BAA and reply just to my email.?

As you must be aware, this is a recognized international race.? To give you some perspective, the field size was limited to 7000, and when opened online, all entries registered in ONE HOUR!? 
?
Our ham support has been and will be vital to the success of the 2012 BAA Half Marathon.?
