for those agencies THAT ARE IN THE T BAND ONLY (470-512Mhz).
because of the future vacate order in this band.
All other VHF (150-174Mhz) and UHF (450-470Mhz) still must narrow band

Subject: FCC Narrowbanding Waive
Hi Ray
This will be of interest to EMDs (and other public safety agencies in their communities) who operate on the so-called T-Band of 470-512 MHz. The original FCC narrowbanding mandate that was to go into effect on January 1, 2013, has been waived indefinitely. This is as a result of the T-Band being vacated in the future as a trade-off for the D-Block of the 700 MHz spectrum being allocated to public safety. Attached is a copy of the FCC Order issued yesterday.
Licensees operating on VHF Hand Band (150-174) and regular UHF (450-470) channels are still under the 01/01/13 narrowbanding mandate.
