[W1SMH] tonight, field day

Hi all, I should make the meeting tonight but with the way things go you never know for 100% sure so I'll put this out here just so it's known. I'm still planning to bring my TS-930 to field say, and I'll have the computer for logging I brought last year, no that's not the one that caused noise on 40 meters, that was 2 years ago, last year's was much better surprisingly since it's a junky dell and the first one I ever had that worked reasonably well. It's still setup from last year so all cw shortcuts and what not should still be in it. I'm not bringing my packet setup this year, if anyone wants to and wants my help with some part of it I'll do that but the thing is, once 2 PM hits Sunday, I have exactly 15 minutes tops to load up and get out of there. My fiance has a new job working from 3-11, it's about 20 minutes from my house, which is 10 minutes from the field day site and I need time once I get home to get everything out of the car, so I leave around 2:15,  home for 2:25, she needs to hit the road for 2:35 latest. Unless someone wants to give me a ride home, I'm going to be going for a very fast log file transfer and tear down of my equipment. That being said, I want the 930 to get a real workout, with the built in powe3r supply and what not, I should be able to load up and get gone in plenty of time I just wanted people to know that's why I'm not  bringing the packet display, plus I'm sick and tired of having problems every year that take well in to the night to iron out at best. I'd rather supply the TS-930, see that as one of the 2 main stations so I can get it a real workout, the computer I had last year at the same station, enjoy it since that's all been tested and I know it all works and keep everything simple and fun this year. Also,  I'll be there either real early or real late, Jess has something mid Saturday morning but we'll iron that out. Either way, I should make the meeting tonight but I'm at my mother's right now doing laundry, other plans changed, my mother has a meeting and she'll bring me over to our meeting at Sturdy, if by chance her meeting runs well in to the night, possible but I hope not, I won't make it but I should make it sometime tonight.
