Hi You All

Rather than wait for the meeting

I thought I would get these Public Service

Events out there.



Friday October 23rd Haunted Happenings 6PM to 10PM



Saturday October 24th Haunted Happenings 6PM to 10PM

Haunted happenings is an outdoor Halloween event that will include

A Haunted forest Walk, Pumkin Carving, face painting etc One admission

fee covers everything (even food I think) $5.00 per person Max $25.00 per family

At YMCA Camp Finberg on Route 123 across from Downtown Cafe Pizza

We (Norton EMA) have been asked to provide Parking control so while not

neccessarily a Ham Radio event its a good way to get some Public Service

experience and help the community as well as learn Parking and Traffic control.

If you would like to participate Just send me an email and show up when you can.

I would think we would not be needed after 9PM. Maybe you can bring the family

help us do the parking and then go enjoy the show. What ever you can do will

be appreciated.



Sunday October 25th Chartley Halloween Parade 12 Noon



We have again been asked to help stage the annual Norton Halloween Parade

While the Parade starts at noon, we will meet at between 10:30AM and 10:45 AM

at the Bedrock Granite Store (Old Taylor Rental) at the Norton/Attleboro Line on 

Route 123. We will then work our annual magic and organize the chaos so that

the parade steps off at noon. All hams and their familys are welcome as it is a

wonderful family event that last about an hour. We will use 2m simplex so only

an HT is required. Those that need to leave early will be out of there by 1PM
