Hello to everyone who participated in the e-preparedness jamboree,

 

I want to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for participating in the Seven Rivers District Emergency Preparedness Jamboree that took place yesterday.  Feedback I've gotten so far is that the boys got a lot out of the demonstration.  Several members of our troop mentioned that they would like to get started on their amateur radio licenses so I hope we can keep that interest kindled.  I also want to thank you for bearing with the weather Mother Nature presented to us yesterday.  The conditions weren't the greatest but the program went very well nonetheless.  I know there are several names of SMHARC members who participated yesterday.  Unfortunately I do not have their e-mail addresses so I'd appreciate your passing this message to them.  Again, many thanks for your kind participation.  I hope we can do something again in the near future.
