Ok I figured I would cut and paste what I put on the forum a week ago,
and put it in e-mail format since the general consenses was e-mail was
better:

Hello all I thought I would see if I could spurr some interest in the
use of 900 mhz in the local area.

There are currently two repeaters, in our immeadiate area that cover
parts or all of Attleboro.

The Taunton machine is currently located in East Taunton at
Dave's(KA1DTA) QTH. It hopefully will be moving to a higher location
soon.

Tony's (NN1D) in Fall River has phenominal coverage in Attleboro.
Reports are it can be worked down into Narragansett RI, and I have
worked it as far North as 140 in Franklin on 495.

Scott (N1SEC) will soon be putting his repeater up at NAHS where the
447.975 repeater is located.

John's (N1UMJ)if all goes well will be going up in Rehoboth. Chuck
(KB1HTO) is building one at his home in Norton.

I will hopefully be getting mine up and running in the Providence area
soon, that will have coverage into SE Mass and into Central RI.

The equipment is quite previlant up on e-bay, so far I am into 900 mhz
for about $300 dollars. That is an HT, Mobile, Repeater, and
duplexers.

I know alot of you are into HF, and roll the eyes. But this stuff is
real exciting to see it blossom as quickly as it has.
