[W1SMH] antenna work

Hi everyone. Before it gets cold, no rush, Any chance some one might stop by
and we can stick a short mast under the antenna on my vent pipe? I just h ad
*absolute need* to use that one but it's hammering my comp speakers, stereo,
and a few other things. I'm thinking that's because there's like 8 inches of
mast under it if that, I have a light 3 or 4 foot pole in my cellar from
something else I was doing that I think might work out great under that
antenna, I really think it's just too close to the roof and with antennas in
the attic, 1 right under it almost, I think that's my problem there. If we
can't work it out, that's fine, I'm sure conditions like we have tonight are
a very rare thing on 2 meters, but I can't talk local with my big antenna if
that makes sense tonight and it's a waste having that antenna up there doing
nothing because of RFI. I'm in no rush, it would be nice on packet and the
rare night like tonight but it does seem a real waste to have that up there
doing nothing but I know it's a lot of work too and I'm not going on that
roof myself, I'll check the other duel bander for problems before I go up
there.
