[W1SMH] looking for help

Hi all,
I'm hoping some one can help me out here.
Ever since the storm last week, I've had a ton of noise on most of my HF
bands. I tracked it to electrical down the street, they say I'm crazy but
they're going to work on it and keep looking, they said though there was no
noise at all for them, nothing at all wrong they could see as of Yesterday
afternoon. Now, here's where I need the help, if it's not on their end, it's
got to be something here. Is there anyone who might like to take a little
time and help me track this noise? I'm first region receive on the NTS nets
and it's sure messing people and things up, not to mention killing me to not
make it in there for the last week. Last week I tried but it's worse this
week what ever it is. I want to drop the antenna and check it first because
I am bothering things I wasn't before, like radio desk computer speakers
that I never did on 75 or 40 until all that started. Originally I started
with the antenna but then I put up a backup antenna up and no luck, same
noise. Anyway, the antenna can be checked from the ground just untie the
rope and let it down, there's a couple other things I want to take a look
at, I can't find that rope for that antenna. The other ideas I have will
just be easier with another person. If some one can help me out, drop me an
email, give me a call 508-802-4293 I guess at this point I want to double
check everything on my end I possibly can. What ever it is, it was effected
some how by the storm, or seemed to be. I suppose it could be coincidence.
It would be my luck if it was something totally unrelated. I'd love to do
the old shutting off circuit breakers and see what happens thing, but I need
a second person for that, and my family pretty much says not to so I have to
do it when they're not home. They're not labeled either so if I find which
one it is, it's anyone's guess what will be shut off. Again, if anyone has
an hour or so and wants to help me out, it would be very very appreciated. I
know some one offered at the meeting last week, I don't think he has email
and I don't have contact info for him so that might help too. Thanks, 73
