[W1SMH] Thanks to AA1VU my G5RV Jr. is back up

Hi All,

Well, thanks to Marian, AA1VU, my G5RV Jr. is back up
in my trees here so I can attempt to enjoy some QRP
work soon. I will be removing my HW-7 from my station
configuration and installing in its place my K1-4.
This will permit me to run up to 7w output on 40, 30,
20, and 17m without the aid of an external tuner. The
K1-4 has the KAT-1 internal tuner, so I can put the
Ten-Tec 247 aside for now.

I plan to put my antenna switch in line so that I can
switch between my K1-4 and my HA750 6m AM with a
MFJ-906 tuner so that I can try out 6m. I'm hoping to
hear and work W1EOF with his HA-460 rig (maybe I can
get some 6m Es as well Hi).

Finally, I hope to get my HTX-10 set up on 10m as
well. This will permit me to work this band on SSB and
maybe I can get the CW modification built and added to
us this rig on CW as well.

Well, that's it for now from here. I hope to work some
stations some time soon before Brenda and I finally
pack up and move into something smaller.
