Hello Folks.

I thought I would take a few minutes and recap the meeting for Sept 20, 2005.

The open house will be scheduled for the November 15th meeting. I am still looking for voluteers to set up demos, also a contact list.

The training classes will be held Saturday Jan 07, and Sat Feb 11. The idea is to present the book the program and rough ideas on the first day. One month later do a question and answer session a rcap an then hit them with the test. KB5TBB and N1EZT have offered to help we could still use a few more.

The field day committee will be going out in the next week or two to look at some sights in Foxboro. If You have an idea for a sight please let Gary KB1KA know and he and his group will check it out. Only (9) months till field day.

The club has donated $220.00 to the red cross specifically marked for Katrina relief $100.00 came from the Club Treasury. The other $120.00 came from the raffle of a $50.00 gift card that was donated by the second meeting gang. Thank You Very much to all that helped.

Lastly the rojacks run has been revived (sort of). A group of Attleboro High School teachers have started what is know to be known as the "ROME BLVD 5 MILER" and we have been aske to help. KC1UN Ken brought this to our attention as he works at the school. We always got good press and a show out in the community with this one, and I have been told there are over three hundred runners registered. So I Hvave (6) operators so far for the day I would like to get a few more. We can do (APRS) (SSTV) and provide communications for the race as well. Please let me that you can help.

The next club business meeting will be Tuesday October 18, 20:00 in the Auditorium. The next rag chew will be Tuesday October 4th.

Dont forget the club has an ARES net on Thurday evening @ 20:30. I will always be available after the net for general club info and topics.

Thanks & 73
