I would like to thank all of those who helped test the EchoLink/147.195 repeater connection yesterday. 

Test results:

1. Dialup, DSL, and cable modem links are all viable for communication

2. Internationally the link works as it should (one user was in Sweden)

3. Multiple Internet users can conference simultaneously

4. My setup is a "portable" one; meaning we could run an EchoLink gateway into the .195 repeater or any other.  Could have emergency uses.

5. If you simply want to "monitor" the repeater, you can do so by connecting to it and setting your station to "Listen only."

What we all learned:

1. Use the space bar for PTT on your PC (works better than hitting the lightening icon.)

2. Connect to the "test server" to check your audio before using the repeater or another connection.
