[W1SMH] The code question

I agree with the sentiment expressed in many 
corners that a code requirement should 
remain.  And I continue to oppose no-code 
licensing.  I hear enough casual chat on 2Meters 
that suggests to me that there are a number of 
folks out there who do not show a proper respect 
for the privilege of holding an Amateur Radio license

It is my opinion that we should keep up the 
technical requirements (including Morse code) for 
amateur radio licensing.  My greatest concern is 
that all the amateur bands might turn into 
CB-like havens for folks who cannot learn a little (albeit slow) Morse code.

We have earned what we have and should endeavor to keep it.
