I think 447.975 would be the best.
The Sharon repeater may be out of reach for some people.
Given that the reason for not using 440 is that some people may not have the
coverage,  why not ask for whom it would not work?
Perhaps it's not as big an issue as once thought.

On the Net question, I have received one vote for each option (A,B,& C).
Looking for more votes...

A. Simplex on 147.195
B. 447.975
C. See if we can move to another repeater (Sharon or 146.76) (I'm reasonably
sure I could get permission, I've talked to the repeater owners before..)
D. Your suggestion!
