[W1SMH] Phil McGan PR Award Nomination

Hi Folks,

I arrived home from a long weekend in Maine to a very pleasant surprise. 
I received and email from Eastern Mass ARRL stating that I had been 
nominated by the SMHARC, to receive the ARRL's prestigious Phil McGan 
Award for PR Volunteers. I have enjoyed working with the officers and 
members of the Sturdy club these last few years. The club had a really 
solid foundation when I arrived but the general public was unaware of 
the resources and capabilities of our group. It was my job to make them 
aware and to enhance the club's public image. I think, with the help of 
many people, we've managed to accomplish that task and more. The club 
has really made a positive name for itself within our area and 
throughout the region. Thanks to those people who have worked with and 
supported me in my position as Public Relations Manager and a sincere 
thank you for this nomination. I look forward to continuing these 
efforts in the future.
