Hi Friends,

I would like to mention that I ran into a very nice person while I was
visiting my Mother-in-law in the hospital the last couple of days. It turns
out the person is Betty, WB1CQB. She was a friend of Frank Jordan (SK) from
the TI Club and knows Bruce N1OFC.

Betty is recooperating in Room 354. I was able to make her day by telling
her that she is still WB1CQB even though she thought her license had expired
(it doesn't until 25-April-2005). It might be nice if some of her friends
out here could stop by and cheer her up. She was very happy to meet me and
is interested in upgrading to General, she is a Novice at this time. I did
tell her that she only needs to pass the General written test to achieve her
upgrade under the present regulations.
