Alex,
I have a collection of software to turn you on to, many will tell you about
morse academy and Supermorse, but one that I have found even better is a
program called NuMorse, which is written by a guy over in England. I have an
early version of his program, when it was free, or have a more recent
version, which is shareware.
I also have an interesting device called FM-MORSE, which connects into a
two-meter and allows you to practice sending with either a straight key or a
keyer over an FM 2m or 440 tranceiver, by simplex or even through a
repeater!
Let me know if you are interested in either of these two options, I myself
wouldn't mind meeting you on a simplex frequency with the FM-MORSE just to
practice my code as well...although I'm a General, I can always use the
practice, since I don't get on HF that much.
