Hi Folks,
 
I received a very large envelope in the mail today from Representative 
Betty Poirier. In it was a letter stating that she regrets that she will 
not be able to attend our Field Day site this year due to a scheduling 
conflict. She also stated that she enjoyed meeting and talking with us 
last year and hopes to attend next year. She was very impressed with the 
work we do and had planned on presenting us with a copy of the 
Governor's "Amateur Radio Day" Proclamation at Field Day. Due to the 
scheduling conflict, it was included in the envelope. We have our own 
copy of the proclamation from Governor Romney. A sincere thank you is 
due Representative Poirier for her efforts on behalf of the SMHARC. The 
Proclamation will be at Field Day! Congratulations to all our club 
members who have worked so hard to make a name for the club in our 
communities. Your efforts do not go unnoticed!
